The regular meeting of Bunker Lane Condominium Association was held at 6:00 P.M, at the BLCA Meeting House, with President Fabian J. Lahue presiding and Secretary Kathy Boyd, Treasurer Ken Gray and Infrastructure Alan Cade present. Also present was Association member, Ardith Cade.
There were no minutes to be read because there was no meeting in September.
The Treasurer’s Report was received and placed on file as follows:
All income for September 2018 was $12,636.50. Net income was $-2,450.20. Total Expenses were $15,086.70. Our total Checking/Savings, Emergency Fund and Capital Improvement Fund is $75,118.91.
The Board discussed the recently completed septic system inspection and maintenance performed in September. One of our pumps again was close to failing due to non-biodegradable products being improperly flushed into the system. Because of this, we must now perform additional inspections beginning April 2019, incurring an added expense to our community. Note that the last instance caused over $9,000 in damages to the pump. Please follow the Rules and “Only flush biodegradable wastes down the toilet. Non-biodegradable products like cigarette butts, cat box litter, baby diapers, wipes, grease, tampons, condoms, powder soap, incontinence products, etc., will clog the system”.
